History

Steinworks was established in 2005 as a brick manufacturing plant on the West Rand of Gauteng. Over the course of the past six years, Steinworks has grown to become one of South Africa’s leading suppliers of stock bricks and building materials in Gauteng.

Why Us

Steinworks Bricks sources and delivers a wide variety of stock bricks from different factories in Gauteng, allowing us to provide the widest selection of shapes, colours and finishes at competitive prices.

Our clients range from individual builders to large construction companies. We deliver bricks throughout South Africa.

Clay Bricks from Steinworks are of the highest quality due to manufacturing procedures using state of the art technology and well managed production processes. The best available clay is sourced from a local quarry, processed and manufactured in order to provide a value for money clay brick product. It is clay brick that you can rely on for quality and durability. The clay bricks are tested according to SABS specified standards in order to ensure the utmost quality control. In the rare instance that a brick might have a defect, Steinworks will replace the product within reason.

Industry News

The clay brick industry is currently under pressure due to the economic climate, electricity constraints and price increases, rising fuel costs, to name a few factors. Many clay brick manufacturing plants have ceased production because of this. Our specific operational setup and lean overhead structure makes us more adaptable to these changing market conditions. We are confident that our quality clay bricks will be available at a fair price, without any interruption, for years to come.

Steinworks Bricks is committed to a greener future and will strife to only support brick making processes that are not unnecessarily wasteful or harmful to the environment. It is in our best interest to optimise the brick production and brick manufacturing processes. This will in turn cause less air pollution.
